The Winter Carousel Race 5 is a certified course where all times achieved in this year's carousel will be approved for statistics for both 5 and 10 km. The course has a rich history, starting in the mid-1980s, and has undergone several changes to improve the running conditions. From the winter of 2023, Ålesundløpene is the organizer of this popular race.
